First Look at Asus Eee Monitor

Here’s the first look at the up coming Asus Eee Monitor, which I reported about earlier today.  The picture is sort of blurry, but it looks far better than I had imagined.

But what’s this? ASUStek CEO, Jerry Shen, presented a 2008 Eee family roadmap that included two previously unannounced Eee products slated for launch sometime between September and December this year. The products were listed as “Eee S1″ and “Eee K1″, and no clue of what type of product they might be was given afterwards.

Seems like lots of exciting stuff is coming out this year…

iMac Rival Added to Eee PC Range?

According to PC World Asus intends to launch a rival to Apple’s iMac sometime in September.  The new device, called the Eee Monitor, will join the existing Eee Range and will be available with Linux or Windows XP.  Don’t expect the Eee Monitor to have the glamour of Apple’s products as most likely it will continue the ‘cheap and functional’ design that the current Eee devices have.
